A Steadicam is a stabilising mount for a video camera, which mechanically isolates the operator's movement from the camera, allowing a very smooth shot even when the operator is moving quickly over an uneven surface. Since its introduction in 1976, Steadicam has revolutionised film and video production.

The Steadicam mount is ideal for a wide range of purpose such as event capture, corporate and promotional video production where a smooth 'hand held' motion shot is desired, apposed to fixed point coverage.
